Tuesday Evening Time Trial League
Our Tuesday evening time trials series mostly alternates between the Tingrith Circuit and the B530 10mile course. Below are the start times and the number of permitted riders, based on when sunset happens. You can arrive at the HQ, which is Redborne Upper School, Ampthill, at least 45 mins before the start. You should allow 15 mins to get to the start of the Tingrith circuits and 15 mins to get to the B530 start. Registration will be open on the start line 30 mins before the first rider goes off.
The Tingrith circuit is ideal for younger riders (they must be over 12 years of age), offering back lanes with little traffic or as an interval type hilly circuit, ideal for training. Entry fees are £5 for adults and £3 for U16. Come and try for total novices is free.So that members who are required to marshal are not disadvantaged in the league tables, they are awarded 41 points for each duty.
If your in the club, then the ‘duty list’ is available from Richard Pratt and you can choose which dates you wish to help if you get in early enough. Members are required to complete 4 duties per season, no more. Link
Red Read Lights are a must for all races, please see the info from the CTT here.
The club reserve the right to change the course or cancel the event on the night, in the event of road closures, bad weather or other unforseen circumstances.
